The magic of the summer heat and long nights was felt during the third workshop of the Midsummer Nights Crafts: Hanging String Gardens, also known as kokedama in Japanese. We had so much fun! After quick introductions and an even quicker lecture, everyone rolled up their sleeves and just went for it. Dirt, ferns, moss, twine, more dirt, water and still more dirt was everywhere! I quickly caught on that everyone was breezing through the workshop adeptly and with great conversations and laughs. We ate a buttery summer berry cake and sipped on prosecco and listened to old records. It was pure enchantment! Thank you so much Stephanie, Sara, Hannah, Ken, Virginie, mom (!)
